- Virtually all pump manufacturers recommend that startup strainers be used for protection from construction debris. Our strainers can be configured with virtually any hole pattern, to fit just about any pipe size. They can be inserted between flanges and the handle serves as an easy signal or reminder for quick verification of installation or of removal after startup. Call us with your requirements for PTFE, PVDF, PPL or any material and size - we’d be happy to give you a quote.
